Burnaby Soup Sisters

In Burnaby we have supported Maggie's Place , an independent-living residential program in north Burnaby focused on community and relationship and developed specifically for women aged 55 and older.

At this time we are currently seeking a new culinary partner and volunteer team in order to continue our 'Hug in a Bowl' support to women and their children who are victims of domestic violence at Maggie's Place.

If you are an established Culinary Institute, Cooking School or certified commercial kitchen please contact us at to find out how to become a Soup Sisters Culinary partner for our soup-making events.

If you have a love for food and community and providing comfort in a bowl sounds like your calling we are looking for new coordinators to assist with re-launching in Burnaby to keep 'the soup flowing'.
